Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. McCormick has always loved dancing, singing and creating puppet shows. McCormick won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to work in the show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964, where she was featured in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in The Wind It Up and It's Breaks in The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with an unmarried family. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity while on sets of the show in the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. In the moment, she was just 16 years old and he was 19. It was likely that we would have a romantic relationship, said she. The timing, however, wasn't just right.
